Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Perfect Granola
- Toast your nuts and seeds: For an even deeper flavor, toast the nuts and seeds in a dry pan before adding them to the granola mixture. Toast for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Customize your mix-ins: Feel free to experiment with different dried fruits, nuts, seeds, or spices. Chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, or even shredded coconut would be delicious additions.
- Adjust sweetness: If you prefer a less sweet granola, reduce the amount of maple syrup. You can also add a touch of honey or brown sugar instead.
- Watch for burning: Keep a close eye on your granola while it bakes. Oven temperatures can vary, so adjust baking time as needed to prevent burning.
