Ingredients
Sago Tikki
- ½ cup Sago Pearls soaked
- ½ cup Potato mashed
- 1 tsp Moringa Masala
- 1 tsp Chili finely chopped, green
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1-2 tsp Salt or to taste
For Shallow Frying/Serving
- Sesame Oil Or Butter for shallow frying
- Wheat Bread Rolls optional, for serving, whole
- Butter optional, for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potato, soaked sago pearls, finely chopped green chili, moringa masala, lemon juice, and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small, round patties or tikkis. Slightly flattening them will ensure even cooking.
- Heat sesame oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown and crispy on both sides. This allows them to develop a delicious crust.
- Serve the sago tikkis hot. They can be enjoyed as a snack on their own.
