  • 1 cup Tapioca Pearl tapioca pearls, or until soft, soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1 medium Potato and mashed, boiled, peeled
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts roasted and finely crushed
  • 1/4 cup Oats finely powdered, rolled oats
  • 1.5 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or to taste, red
  • 1 tbsp Coriander freshly chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil for shallow frying

For Serving (Optional):

  • Chutney Or Dip as needed, such as tamarind chutney or mint-coriander chutney, your favorite choice

Instructions
 

Prepare the Sabudana

  • Soak the sabudana in enough water for at least 4 hours, or until soft and slightly translucent.

Combine Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, gently combine the soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, powdered oats, salt, red chili powder, and chopped coriander. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

Shape the Cutlets

  • Gently shape the mixture into small, flat cutlets. Handle them carefully to avoid breaking them.

Shallow Fry
