Ingredients
For the Dal Flour Crust
- 1/4 cup Mung Bean for the crust. rinse thoroughly before grinding., yellow
- 1/4 cup Urad Dal black, for the crust. rinse thoroughly before grinding., split
- 1 tbsp Gram Flour besan, for the crust
- 1 tbsp Semolina for the crust, rawa
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour for the crust
- 1.5 tsp Salt adjust to taste
- 1 tsp Chili Powder adjust to taste, red
- 1/2 cup Water add more as needed to achieve a smooth batter
For the Toppings
- 1 Bell Peppers any color, capsicum, chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1/2 Onion finely chopped
- 1 cup Cottage Cheese cubed
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder or use 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1.5 tsp Salt adjust to taste
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes adjust to taste
- 1 tsp Tandoori Masala
- 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup or pizza sauce
- 2-3 tbsp Oil for cooking the crust
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese grated
Instructions
Prepare the Dal Flour Crust
- Mix together moong dal, urad dal, besan, semolina, and rice flour in a bowl. Add salt and red chili powder. Gradually add water, mixing until a thick, smooth batter forms. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Adjust the consistency if needed.
Cook the Crust
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Pour 4 tablespoons of batter onto the pan for each pizzette, spreading it to create a thin, roughly 3-inch circle. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a round cookie cutter if desired.
Prepare the Toppings
- Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and tomato. In a bowl, combine the chopped vegetables with the paneer cubes. Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, chili flakes, and tandoori masala. Mix gently.
