- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Potato mashed
- 1 tbsp Chili finely chopped, green
- 1/2 cup Peas fresh or frozen, green
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds roasted and ground
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 cup Coriander chopped, fresh
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Cheese grated (cheddar or mozzarella recommended)
For Frying
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil or butter
Instructions
Prepare the Tikki Mixture
- Combine rolled oats, mashed potatoes, green peas, green chili, grated cheese, roasted cumin powder, garam masala, chopped coriander, and salt in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Shape the Tikkis
- Form the mixture into small, flat patties (tikkis). Make them about 1/2 inch thick.
Cook the Tikkis
- Heat olive oil or butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Carefully place the tikkis in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
