Fruits

  • 1 Apple medium-sized apple, any variety
  • 4-6 Dates medjool dates are recommended for their sweetness and texture

Dairy & Sweetener

  • 1 cup Milk any type of milk (dairy or non-dairy) can be used
  • 1 tbsp Honey or 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, to taste

Optional additions

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract for enhanced flavor
  • 1/4 cup Ice for a thicker, colder milkshake

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and thoroughly core one medium-sized apple. Peel the apple if desired, and chop into small cubes.

Date Prep

  • Remove the pits from 4-6 Medjool dates.

Blending

  • Combine the chopped apple, pitted dates, and 1 cup of milk in a blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

Sweetening & Serving

  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey (or sugar) and blend again to combine. If the milkshake is too thick, add more milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. If you like, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor. Add ice for a colder shake. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
