- 1 cup Peas fresh peas may also be used, frozen, green
- 1 cup Corn Kernels fresh or frozen

- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds jeera
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Cardamom Pods black
- 1 tsp Chili finely chopped, green
- 1 tbsp Pepper black, ground
- 1/2 tsp Pepper black, for additional flavor, ground
- 1 tsp Salt or to taste
Other Ingredients
- 1 cup Cottage Cheese fried or crumbled cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp Ghee or vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cup Water adjust as needed for desired consistency

- Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 30 minutes.
Sautéing the Spices
- Heat the ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan or pot over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds, cloves, and black cardamom pods. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
