Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Best Tikki Cholle:
- For extra crispy tikkis, ensure the potatoes are well-mashed and the mixture isn't too wet. Add a little extra breadcrumbs if needed.
- Soaking the chickpeas overnight significantly reduces cooking time and improves their texture. Pressure cooking ensures they're tender and fluffy.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when frying the tikkis; fry them in batches to ensure even browning and crispiness.
- Feel free to customize the spice level to your preference. Adjust the amount of red chili powder and green chilies accordingly.
