Recipe Notes

Additional Tips

  • For extra crunch, lightly toast the bread slices on a pan or in the oven before adding toppings; this prevents them from getting soggy under the cheese and vegetables.
  • Try adding a smear of green chutney or a sprinkle of chaat masala over the veggies for a burst of tangy, authentic Indian flavor that pairs well with the cheese.
  • If you prefer a richer base, mix a little cream with grated cheese and spread it directly on the bread before piling on the vegetables—this creates a creamy, melty layer that's especially indulgent.
  • To make the bread pizza vegan, use dairy-free cheese and replace cream with a cashew or coconut-based spread; you can also load up on more vegetables like corn, mushrooms, or tomatoes for extra flavor.
