Bread Base

  • 4 slices Bread use your favorite type of bread; thick-cut works best.

Vegetable Topping

Seasoning & Cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes or to taste; can substitute with oregano or italian seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese or your preferred pizza cheese., shredded
  • 1 tbsp Butter optional, for added richness.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Vegetables

  • Chop the bell pepper, onion, and tomato into small, roughly equal-sized pieces.

Sauté the Vegetables

  • Heat the olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until the vegetables are tender and any excess moisture has evaporated, about another 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Assemble the Bread Pizzas

  • If using, lightly butter each bread slice. Spread the sautéed vegetable mixture evenly over each slice. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake or Microwave

  • For best results, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Alternatively, microwave each bread pizza slice for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with chili flakes (and/or oregano) before serving.
