  • 1 cup Chickpeas dried or canned, cooked until very tender. if using canned, rinse well.

Flavor & Texture

  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed is best.
  • 2 clove Garlic use more or less to your preference.
  • 1 tsp Cumin roasted cumin adds a deeper flavor., ground
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper freshly ground is recommended., black, ground
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil plus extra for drizzling.
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste.

Finishing Touches

  • 2-4 tbsp Water add as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  • 1 tbsp Paprika optional, for garnish.

  • Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, black pepper, olive oil, and salt in a food processor.

Blending

  • Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
