Spinach Honey Candy

Spinach is a leafy vegetable and though it has a lot of vitamins, my family members tend to avoid eating this. I thought to make spinach taste sweet with honey and therefore made a candy out of it.

Ingredients
  

  • Honey 1/2 cup
  • Spinach 1 bunch blanch & puree it.
  • Cinamon powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cashewnut paste 2 tablespoons
  • Khoya 1/2 cup
  • Milk powder 5 tablespoons
  • Castor sugar for coating
  • Cashewnuts for decoration
  • Ghee 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Heat a wok, pour the spinach puree stir it continuously After one minute add khoya , ghee , milk powder , honey , cashew nut paste mix it . Cook it over low flame until mixture turns a little thick . Then add cinnamon powder and mix it properly.
  • Transfer the mixture on to a plate and cool. Cut it with help of biscuit cutter, design it to shape of your choice, Sprinkle castor sugar and place a cashew nut on top serve with honey.
