Recipe Notes

Additional Tips

  • For a fun presentation, layer the fruit purees in molds to create colorful stripes—allow each layer to partially freeze before adding the next for clean separation.
  • If you prefer a softer texture, substitute some of the water with coconut water or lychee juice; this not only enhances flavor but also creates a silkier ice-candy.
  • Try adding a pinch of chaat masala or black salt to the mixture before freezing for a more authentic Indian street-food twist and an extra tangy kick.
  • To make these candies vegan and allergen-friendly, ensure you’re using unprocessed cane sugar and avoid any dairy-based sweeteners or flavorings in the fruit blends.
