Prawns Ghee Roast

Here is a very easy everyday side dish that can be put together in minutes. This spicy prawn ghee roast goes so well as a side dish for lunch with rice and curry. Here is how to do prawn ghee roast.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm peeled n washed prawns
  • 3 tablespoon ghee divided
  • 1 tspn mustard seeda
  • 1 tspn cumin seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 10 nos black pepper
  • 6 to 7 nos dried red chilies soaked in warm water.
  • 1 amla size tamarind pulp
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspn turmeric powder

Instructions
 

  • Take pan roast cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, fennel seeds, soaked red chilies and black pepper. grind it into fine.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in pan add prawns, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder n cooked till prawns done. Remove prawns in plate. Add grinded paste n ghee in it n cook, add tamarind n cook till ghee over float on masala.
  • Add prawns n cook till masala dry.
  • Prasna ghee prasth is ready to serve. Serve this recipe as a side dish for lunch with rice and curry.

Notes

Added ghee  gives an awesome taste.
