Honey Chilli Potatoes - Crispy fried potato fingers tossed in a honey chilli sauce. Simply irresistable and delicious party starter too.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 potato wedges
  • 1 medium size onion cut into cubes
  • 4 green chilly length slice
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 5 nos garlic pods finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar optional
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnishing
  • Oil for deep fry
  • 1/4 cup water + 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in wok, deep fry potato wedges till it done crisp. Transfer it on absorbing paper.
  • In another pan heat 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Leave 1 tablespoon of oil in the wok. Stir fry ginger and garlic for minute on low medium flame.
  • Add onion and saute till it get soft or transparent.
  • Add green chilies, salt, red chili sauce, vinegar and mix it.
  • Add melted cornstarch and honey in it. Mix it really well.
  • Add fried potatoes n saute well. Add sesame seeds n mix gently. Switch off the flame.
  • You are done. Serve this hot as starter.

Notes

Use less spicy chillies.
Avoid green chilies If u r making this recipe for kids.
