Chili And Sweet Lime Nojito

Nojito is often referred to non alcoholic Mojito. It feels so relaxing when drinking a fresh juice or mocktail. Why not try something with Chili? Chili and Sweet Lime Nojito is a refreshing drink containing fresh sweet lime, mint leaves and green chili. I was quite skeptical when preparing this drink but it was definitely a success at my home when my kid approved this drink.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup water
- ¼ + 1/8 cup sugar
- 1 spicy green chili finely chopped
- ½ cup fresh sweet lime juice Without water
- ¼ cup mint leaves
- 2 cup chilled soda
- Few mint leaves for garnishing
- Ice cubes optional

Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, add sugar and water, heat for 2 minutes.
- Add the mint leaves and chopped green chili. Close the lid. Allow them to steep well for 5 minutes in the sugar water.
- After 5 minutes, filter the above mixture and let it cool completely.
- In a pitcher, pour the sweet lime juice, and mix the above filtered mixture.
- Before serving the Nojito, add 2 cups of soda to the pitcher.
- Pour the Nojito in two glasses, garnish with mint leaves and add ice cubes if needed.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness and spicy flavour according to your taste.
