Instructions

  • Sieve maida, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl to mix all the ingredients. Repeat the process two three times to add little air in the flour.
  • Mix powdered sugar and ghee whisk well till it turns smooth.
  • Add the condensed milk and mix well with sugar, ghee mix.
  • Add flour to the mixture and whisk the batter in one direction. Add milk and mix till it become fluffy there should be no lumps in the mix.
  • Grease a cake tin with ghee and dust it with littler flour evenly all corners to make a thin layer. Pour the prepared cake batter into the greased tin and keep aside.
  • Remove the gasket or rubber on the lid of your pressure cooker, as we do not want to whistle the cake. Put the small, thick steel plate at the bottom of the cooker.
  • You can also spread 1 cup Salt at the base of the Cooker that not only prevents the base of the dish to come in contact with each other, but also maintains the temperature inside the Cooker.
  • Put the pressure cooker on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes to preheat the cooker.
  • Put the batter filled cake tin in preheated pressure cooker, close the lid and cook on medium heat for 3545 minutes. Insert a knife to check if cake is ready, if it comes out clean then your cake is ready to serve.
  • Let it cool down to room temperature. Remove the cake, cut into slices and serve.
