  • 3/4 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1-2 tbsp Milk add as needed to reach desired piping consistency.

Prepare the Dough

  • Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Sift together the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, and salt (if using).
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • If the dough is too stiff, add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches a pipeable consistency. Be careful not to add too much milk.

Shape and Bake the Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Fit a piping bag with a star tip and fill it with the cookie dough.
  • Pipe rose shapes onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are slightly darker.
