Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup Coconut Milk thick
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 1/2 tbsp Cocoa Powder i used kalya cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar organic raw
- ¾ tsp Mint Extract fresh, take from 10 to 15 fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Clean and wash mint leaves, squeeze the leaves well and extract about ¾ teaspoon of mint extract without adding water.
- Combine water and coconut milk in a pan.
- Heat it on a lower flame until small bubbles are formed. (Do not boil)
- Turn off the flame.
- Add cocoa powder and sugar.
- Mix well until the ingredients are combined completely.
- Add the mint extract and mix gently.
- Pour into the serving mugs and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- Adjust water according to the density of coconut milk. If it is less creamy and thin, you can avoid adding water and use the same amount of coconut milk only.
- Adjust the sweetener according to your taste.
- Use as much as mint leaves to obtain ¾ teaspoon of fresh mint extract.
- When you are heating the coconut milk, stir it often.
