- Semolina rava- 1.5 cup
- Oats - 1/2 cup
- Curd/Yogurt- 1 cup
- Carrot paste- 1/3 cup
- Spinach paste - 1/3 cup
- Orange and Green Food colour optional
- Onion- 1/2 cup chopped
- Ginger grated- 1/3 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Eno - 1 and half Sachet
- Salt to taste

- For Preparing the batter of the Appe, Take a bowl, add semolina/sooji, add 1 cup of curd, 1 tsp salt mix eveything well, add 1/2 cup of water. keep the consistency like idli batter. keep it aside for 15-20 minutes till the semolina puffs up. And our batter is ready.
- Heat 1 oil in a pan, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, add Onions, 1/2 tsp of chpped ginger, saute onion for 2-3 minutes, Our tempering is done.
- Add soaked Oats to the Sooji batter, combine well. add Onion tempering to the batter, mix it well. Divide the batter in 3 equal portions. keep the white portion as it is. add 1 portion of carrot paste in 1 portion, mix well. add spinach paste to the other portion. All the 3 batters are ready.
- Adding food colour is optional. add water to all the three batters, add 1/2 tsp of Eno to all the batters, add few more drops of water. mix immedietly.
- Grease Appe pan with Oil, add 3 tsp each of the batter. Cover the pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes. add little oil to the edges of Appe. once it is cooked, flip it over to other side. Cook for 1 more minute and Appes are done. Likewise prepare other colours also, And its ready.
