Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Tinda Washed and chopped
- 1/2 cup Tomato Finely chopped
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder Adjust to taste
- 3/4 tsp Salt Or as required
- 1/4 cup Water For cooking

Preparation
- Wash and chop the tinda into medium-sized pieces. Finely chop the tomatoes.
Cooking the Sabzi
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle gently.
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add chopped tinda and mix well so the pieces are coated with the tomato masala.
- Add water, cover, and cook on low heat until the tinda is tender but not mushy.
Final Steps
- Cook uncovered for a few minutes to remove excess moisture. Serve warm.
