- 1 1/2 cups Pumpkin Peeled and chopped into medium cubes
- 1/2 cup Tomato Finely chopped
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder Adjust to taste
- 3/4 tsp Salt Or as required
- 1/4 cup Water For cooking

- Wash, peel, and chop the pumpkin into medium-sized cubes. Chop the tomatoes finely.
Cooking the Sabzi
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle gently.
- Add chopped pumpkin, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add chopped tomatoes and water. Cover and cook on low to medium heat until the pumpkin becomes soft and tender.
- Add red chilli powder and cook uncovered for a few minutes until the sabzi becomes lightly moist and well combined.
Final Steps
- Switch off the heat and serve warm with roti.
