Ingredients
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 inch Ginger chopped
- 2 Chilli chopped, green
- 1 Onion chopped
- 4 Potato medium sized boiled and peeled
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste, tsp
- 1/2 tsp Mango Powder dry
- 2 tsp Coriander dhania, chopped
- 6 slice Sandwich Bread or brown white brown, or white
- 1 cup Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Firstly, in a large kadai heat oil and saute finely chopped ginger and green chilli.
- Also saute finely chopped onions till they change colour.
- Mix well and mash the potatoes.
- Also add chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, dry mango powder and salt.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well. keep aside.
- Dip the bread slice into water just for a second and squeeze off the excess water.
- Place the oval shaped prepared stuffing.
- And wrap the bread making sure to pinch the edges and secure tight.
- Further, with the help of both hands roll and make a oval shape.
- Deep fry the prepared bread roll into hot oil.
- Stir and fry occasionally on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
- Finally, serve stuffed bread roll hot along with ketchup.

- For extra crunch and flavor, brush the outside of the bread rolls lightly with oil or butter and sprinkle with a pinch of chaat masala before baking or shallow-frying.
- If the potato filling feels too moist and risks making the bread soggy, mix in a tablespoon of roasted gram flour (besan) or bread crumbs to absorb excess moisture and help the stuffing hold together better.
- For a variation, add finely chopped fresh coriander leaves or a handful of grated paneer to the potato mixture for enhanced flavor and a richer texture.
