Dairy

  • 2 cup Milk whole milk recommended for richer flavor
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Sweetener & Flavoring

  • 1/2 cup Sugar adjust to your desired sweetness; sugar-free alternatives can be used, brown
  • 6 tbsp Dates medjool dates are recommended for their rich flavor and soft texture; also known as khajur
  • 2-3 drops Kewra Water optional, adds a delicate floral aroma

Garnish

  • 1/2 cup Dates chopped, for garnish; also known as khajur

Instructions
 

Prepare the Date Mixture

  • Combine milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, pitted dates, and kewra water (if using) in a blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

First Freeze

  • Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until partially frozen.

Second Blend & Freeze

  • Remove the container from the freezer and blend the mixture again until light and fluffy. This helps create a smoother texture.
  • Pour the mixture back into the airtight container and freeze for another 4-6 hours, or until firm but still scoopable.

Serve

  • Scoop the ice cream into bowls and garnish with chopped dates. Serve immediately and enjoy!
