Ingredients
- 500 gm Jamun fresh, pitted
- 7.5 gm Himalayan Crystal Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper crushed, black
- 1 tsp Ginger Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1 pinch Nutmeg freshly grated
- 2 Chili finely chopped (optional, adjust to taste), green
- 2 tbsp Jaggery melted
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
Instructions
Prepare the Jamun
- Pit and remove the seeds from the jamun.
Cook the Jamun Chaat
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the pitted jamun, Himalayan crystal salt, green chilies (if using), crushed black pepper, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, and melted jaggery.
Simmer and Thicken
- Mix well and cook, stirring occasionally, until the jamun softens and the mixture slightly thickens. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
Finish and Serve
