Ingredients
- 200 gm Cottage Cheese paneer
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seed
- 2.5 Chillies dried, red
- 1 Onion medium chopped
- 1 Onion medium cut into strips
- 1 Tomato medium chopped
- 1 Tomato medium cut into strips
- 1/2 Bell Peppers green, medium cut into strips
- 1 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi
- 2 Chilli chopped, green
- 1 inch Ginger cut into juliennes
- 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- leaves Coriander dhania, chopped
Instructions
Prepare the Spice Base
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 2 minutes until softened. Add minced ginger and green chilies, sauté for another minute. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add finely chopped tomatoes and tomato puree, sauté until oil separates from the sides.
Sauté the Vegetables
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a separate pan. Add cumin seeds, dried red chilies, and sauté briefly. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry until slightly softened. Add the prepared spice base and mix well.
Combine and Finish
- Add the sliced tomatoes to the pan. Stir in garam masala. Add the paneer and gently toss to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the paneer is heated through. Stir in chopped coriander leaves.
