For the Tomato Puree

For the Lemonade

  • 6 tbsp Sugar adjust to taste
  • 100 ml Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 500 ml Water chilled water
  • 1/2 tsp Salt enhances the flavors, optional

Prepare the Tomato Puree

  • Wash and roughly chop the tomatoes. Blend the tomatoes in a blender until smooth.
  • Strain the tomato puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds and skins. You may need to do this twice for a completely smooth puree.

Make the Lemonade

  • In a pitcher, combine the strained tomato puree, sugar, lemon juice, water, and salt (if using).
  • Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness or tartness as needed.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour for optimal refreshment.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge, if desired.
