Ingredients
For the Mulberry Puree
- 1/2 cup Mulberries approximately 12 mulberries, fresh
For the Spritzer
- 5-7 tsp Simple Syrup adjust to your preferred sweetness. see instructions for simple syrup recipe.
- 2 tsp Lime Juice freshly squeezed is best.
- 6 ounce Soda Water or sparkling water; approximately 180 ml or ¾ cup, chilled
- 1/2 cup Ice Cubes crushed ice is recommended
- 2-3 sprigs Mint Leaves for garnish, fresh
Instructions
Make the Mulberry Puree
- Muddle the fresh mulberries in a cup or small bowl until they are broken down and release their juices.
Combine Ingredients
- Add 5-7 teaspoons of simple syrup (adjust to taste) to the mashed mulberries and stir well to combine. If needed, add an additional 1-2 tsps of simple syrup for a sweeter drink.
Assemble the Spritzer
- Fill a glass with crushed ice. Add the mulberry mixture and lime juice to the glass.
- Top with 6 ounces of chilled soda water.
- Gently stir to combine.
Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
