Ingredients
For the Spinach Mixture
For the Tempering
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Gram black, split black gram

- 1 cup Yogurt plain, thick curd

- Clean and chop the spinach, including the stems. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. In a saucepan, combine spinach, onion, garlic, red chili powder, salt, and water. Cook over medium heat until the spinach is wilted and tender. Set aside to cool.
Make the Coconut-Chili Paste
- While the spinach cooks, blend the grated coconut and green chilies in a blender until you achieve a smooth paste.
Combine and Finish
- Once the spinach mixture has cooled, add the coconut-chili paste and yogurt. Stir well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
