  • 3-5 drops Rose Water adjust to taste. alternatively, use vanilla extract.
  • 1/2 cup Nuts pistachios, almonds, cashews – your choice!, mixed
  • 1/4 cup Raisins

Prepare the Custard

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of milk and the custard powder until smooth. Set aside.

Cook the Custard Base

  • In a medium saucepan, heat the remaining milk over medium heat. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.

Combine and Thicken

  • Once the milk is hot, but not boiling, slowly whisk in the custard mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture thickens significantly. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Fold in Cream and Flavoring

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the cooled custard base and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in the rose water (or vanilla extract).

Freeze and Whip (No-Churn Method)

  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 1 hour. Remove and whisk thoroughly to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process after another hour, and then a third time after another hour.

Add Mix-ins and Final Freeze

  • Stir in the mixed nuts and raisins. Return to the freezer and freeze for at least 4-5 hours, or until solid.
