Ingredients
- 30 Biscuit marie nos
- 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Sugar powdered
- 100 gm Butter
- 2 tsp Coffee Powder
- 250 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
Prepare the Coffee Infusion
- Boil water in a saucepan. Add instant coffee granules and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat and strain the coffee mixture, reserving the liquid.
Prepare the Cream Mixture
- In a bowl, beat softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add cocoa powder and beat until well combined.
Finish the Cream Mixture
- Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add milk, mixing until you achieve a smooth, spreadable consistency. Do not overmix.
Assemble the Pudding
- Line a square or rectangular tin with cling film, leaving some overhang on one side for easy removal later.
- Dip each marie biscuit briefly into the coffee infusion. Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits in the prepared tin.
- Spread half of the cream mixture evenly over the biscuits.
- Repeat the layers: dipped biscuits, then the remaining cream mixture.
Garnish and Chill
- Garnish the top with chopped nuts or sugar sprinkles (optional).
- Cover the tin tightly with the cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the pudding to set.
Serve
- Carefully remove the pudding from the tin using the overhanging cling film. Cut into squares and serve immediately. The pudding is best served chilled and should be kept refrigerated to prevent melting.
Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Best No-Bake Biscuit Pudding:
- Use high-quality cocoa powder for the richest chocolate flavor.
- Don't over-soak the biscuits in coffee; a quick dip is all they need to absorb some flavor without becoming soggy.
- For a more intense coffee flavor, use strong brewed coffee instead of instant coffee granules.
- If you want a sweeter pudding, add a little extra powdered sugar to the cream mixture.
