Ingredients

- 1 tsp Sugar granulated sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Strawberry Syrup hershey's or similar brand
For the Nut Topping

- 4 tbsp Cream Cheese softened

- 2 tbsp Chocolate Syrup hershey's or similar brand
Instructions
Prepare the Bread
- Toast the bread slices lightly on both sides in a lightly buttered pan until golden brown. Set aside.
Make the Banana Filling
- Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth. Add sugar and strawberry syrup. Cook in a pan over medium heat for about 7 minutes, or until thickened.
Prepare the Nut Topping
- Pulse cashews, walnuts, and almonds in a food processor until coarsely chopped. Set aside.
Assemble the Gateau
- Cut each bread slice in half. Spread a spoonful of the banana mixture onto each bread half. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts. Top with a half-teaspoon of softened cream cheese and spread lightly.
Finish and Chill
