Expert Tips for Making Perfect Maa Vilakku

  • Use high-quality ghee for the best aroma and flavor. The richer the ghee, the better the Maa Vilakku will taste.
  • If the dough is too sticky, add a little more rice flour. If it's too dry, add a tiny bit of water.
  • Grate the jaggery finely to ensure it blends well into the dough.
  • For a more intense cardamom flavor, lightly toast the cardamom pods before grinding them into a powder.
