Ingredients
 

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cup Whole Wheat Flour atta, whole
  • 1 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder elaichi, finely ground
  • 1/2 cup Fruits cashews, chopped, dry, pistachios. adjust to your preference., raisins, such as almonds

Wet Ingredients

  • 200 grams Ghee clarified butter
  • 50 grams Edible Gum finely crushed, gond
  • 4 tbsp Coconut for garnish, grated, optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Gond and Fruits

  • Fry the edible gum (gond) in 100 grams of desi ghee for 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Add the chopped dry fruits to the remaining ghee in the pan and fry for 1 minute until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

Toast the Flour

  • Add the remaining 100 grams of ghee to the pan and fry the whole wheat flour for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until lightly golden brown and fragrant.

Combine and Mix

  • In a large bowl, combine the toasted flour, powdered sugar, milk, crushed gond, and cardamom powder. Mix well until a cohesive dough forms.
  • Add the fried dry fruits to the mixture and combine gently.

Shape the Laddu

  • Lightly grease your hands with ghee. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls (laddu). Garnish with grated coconut if desired.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve the Gond Ke Laddu immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
