Ingredients
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour whole
- 1 pinch Carom Seeds ajwain
- 1 pinch Onion Seeds
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1 tbsp Ghee ghee
For Stuffing
- 1/2 bowl Bell Peppers finely chopped
- 1/2 bowl Corn sweet
- 100 gm Mozzarella Cheese
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Pepper black
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Boil the corn. Remove the water from corn. Take a bowl add ,mozzarella cheese ,capsicum,sweet corn,salt and black pepper powder and mix well. Now stuffing is ready. Take a bowl add wheat flour,carom seeds,onion seeds,salt and clarified butter and mix
- Make a soft dough with the help of water. Keep aside for 30 mins. Divide the dough into equal size balls. Roll them with rolling pin. Add 2 tbsp filling in the center of paratha. close it like a lifafa/envelope.
- On a heated pan make lifafa paratha applying oil on both sides. Serve hot with sauces.

- To achieve the signature flaky layers, let the dough rest for at least 20 minutes before rolling and folding, which allows the gluten to relax and makes for an easier, more delicate fold.
- For a flavorful filling variation, add crumbled paneer, chopped green chilies, and fresh coriander to the capsicum and sweet corn mixture before stuffing the paratha.
- If you want a crispier texture, cook the paratha on medium-high heat and apply clarified butter generously during the final stage of toasting on the skillet.
- Lifafa Paratha freezes well—assemble and partially cook the parathas, then let them cool, stack with parchment between each, and freeze. Reheat directly on a hot skillet straight from the freezer for a quick breakfast.
