  • 2 slices Bread whole wheat bread recommended
  • 2 Egg

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Thinly slice the onion. Chop the green chilies and coriander. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk well.

Cook the Egg Toast

  • Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté for about a minute until softened.
  • Pour the whisked eggs into the pan and let them begin to set slightly.
  • Carefully place one slice of bread on top of the eggs, pressing gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the egg is cooked through on that side.
  • Flip the bread and egg together. Top with the second slice of bread. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the second slice is golden brown and the egg is cooked through.

Serve

  • Remove from the pan, cut diagonally, and garnish with chopped green chilies and fresh coriander. Serve immediately and enjoy!
