My journey began with a batch of organic chia seeds from Plattershare, sparking my desire to create something both healthy and exciting. This Indian-inspired Cranachan uses black rice instead of oats, providing a beautiful visual appeal and adding a touch of unique nuttiness. I call it my "Spa Food Item" because it’s so incredibly nourishing.
Get ready to layer creamy coconut pudding, sweet berries, and crunchy roasted oats into elegant glasses for a stunning and flavorful treat. The chia seeds add a boost of nutrition, making this a truly guilt-free indulgence.

Make the Coconut Chia Pudding

  • Heat coconut milk in a saucepan over low heat. Add coconut oil and maple syrup (or honey). Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Roast the Oats

  • Toast rolled oats in a dry skillet over medium-low heat until lightly browned and fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Add brown sugar (optional) and mix well.

  • Top with slivered almonds and the honey-tossed corn flakes.
