Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit

  • Thoroughly wash the black plums under running water to remove any dirt.
  • Remove the seeds from the plums. You can do this by squeezing the pulp off the seed with your hands or by running a small knife around it.

Step 2: Blend the Juice

  • Place the deseeded plum flesh into a blender.
  • Add the chilled water, Himalayan pink salt, and black salt.
  • Blend on high for 60-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth and consistent.

Step 3: Serve

  • Pour the juice into serving glasses. For a smoother texture, you can strain it through a fine-mesh sieve.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Expert Tips

  • Selecting Plums: Choose plums that are dark purple, plump, and soft to the touch for the best flavor and juice content.
  • Flavor Variations: For a sweeter taste, blend in 1-2 teaspoons of honey or a few pitted dates. For a zesty kick, add a splash of fresh lime juice before blending.
  • Make it a Slushie: For an extra-cooling treat, blend the ingredients with a handful of ice cubes to create a delicious and healthy fruit slushie.
  • Storage: Store leftover juice in a sealed glass bottle in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The juice may separate, so shake it well before serving.
