Ingredients
For the Paneer Marinade:
- 200 gm Cottage Cheese indian cottage cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1 tsp Chili Powder red
- 0.5 tsp Pepper ground, black
- 0.5 tsp Oregano dried oregano flakes, optional
- 3 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for the marinade
For Grilling & Serving:
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil for grilling
- Cabbage shredded, to taste, for serving, raw
- Mint Leaves fresh, to taste, chopped, for serving
- Onion thinly sliced, to taste, for serving, red
- Lemon Wedges for serving, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
- In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, garlic powder, salt, red chili powder, black pepper, and oregano (if using). Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 3 tablespoons of water. Mix well until a smooth paste forms.
Marinate the Paneer
- Add the paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 15-30 minutes for optimal flavor infusion.
Grill the Paneer
- Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the marinated paneer cubes in the hot pan. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
Serve
