Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup Almond Flour tightly packed; can be made by finely grinding blanched almonds in a food processor.
- 1/2 cup Walnuts chopped
- 1/2 cup Golden Raisins
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg ground
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon ground
- 1/4 tsp Ginger ground
- 1/4 cup Sugar powdered
- 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds ajwain
Wet Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp Ghee ghee; adjust to your preference.
Instructions
Toast the Walnuts
- Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped walnuts and toast until light golden and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
Cook the Almond Flour
- Add the remaining ghee to the pan. Add the almond flour and carom seeds. Stir constantly over low heat for 5-6 minutes, until fragrant and lightly browned.
Combine and Finish
- Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the toasted walnuts, golden raisins, powdered sugar, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
