For the Eggs

  • 1 Egg large egg

Herbs & Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Mint dried, or 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh mint
  • 4-5 Basil fresh basil leaves
  • 7 Olive black, sliced or diced
  • 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
  • to taste Pepper black, freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Grease a stainless steel egg mold with 1 teaspoon of cooking oil.

Herb and Olive Prep

  • If using fresh herbs, wash and finely chop the basil. Set aside the dried mint and fresh basil.

Cooking the Egg

  • Crack one egg into the prepared egg mold. Gently tear a few fresh basil leaves and place them on top of the egg.

Seasoning and Cooking

  • Sprinkle the dried mint and sliced black olives over the egg. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
