- 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 4 Chili finely chopped, green
- 4 leaves Curry Leaves
- 3 tbsp Peanuts roasted and crushed
For the Flavor Boost
- 1 tsp Chili Powder or to taste, red
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
For Garnishing
- 1 cube Cheese grated, processed
Instructions
Prepare the Potatoes
- Grate the potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Drain excess water and sprinkle with salt. Set aside to drain.
Make the Spice Tempering
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add finely chopped green chilies, curry leaves, and 1 tablespoon of crushed roasted peanuts. Sauté briefly.
Cook the Potatoes
- Drain any excess water released from the salted potatoes. Add the grated potatoes to the pan and mix well with the spice tempering.
- Close the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

- Once the potatoes are cooked, remove the lid. Stir in red chili powder, salt to taste, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.
