- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt or to taste
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Ghee clarified butter
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil refined oil can be substituted
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 cup Sugar powdered
- 1/4 cup Milk
Other
- 1 Cake Pan 8-inch or 9-inch round pan
- 1 sheet Parchment Paper
Instructions
Prepare the Dry Ingredients
- Sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Combine Wet Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the ghee and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and gently fold them into the ghee mixture.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Slowly incorporate the milk, folding until the batter is smooth.
