Expert Tips for the Best Dahi Aloo Chaat

  • For extra crispy potatoes, pat them dry with a paper towel before frying.
  • If you don't have roasted cumin powder, you can lightly toast whole cumin seeds in a dry pan and then grind them.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar and green chutney to your liking. Some prefer a sweeter, others a spicier chaat.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro or sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) for added texture and visual appeal.
