  • 2 large Potatoes russet or yukon gold recommended
  • 1/2 tsp Salt for boiling water

Prepare the Potatoes

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into finger shapes. Place the potatoes in a pot of boiling water with 1/2 tsp of salt and boil for 5-7 minutes, until slightly tender but not mushy. Drain well and set aside.

Coat the Potatoes

  • In a large bowl, combine the corn flour, 1 tsp salt, and black pepper. Add the boiled potatoes and toss until evenly coated.

Deep Fry the Potatoes

  • Heat about 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the coated potatoes and fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
