Ingredients
 

For the Cutlet Mixture

  • 1 cup Semolina also known as suji
  • 5 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Vegetables finely chopped cauliflower, and bell pepper. feel free to use your favorite vegetables!, carrots, green beans, mixed, peas
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper adjust to taste, black
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Refined Oil for cooking the vegetables and greasing the plate

Prepare the Vegetable Mixture

  • Heat the milk in a pan or kadai. Once heated, add 1 tbsp of oil, all the mixed vegetables, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Cook the Semolina

  • Add the semolina to the vegetable mixture and cook for at least 10 minutes, stirring continuously, until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.

Set and Chill

  • Lightly grease a flat plate or baking dish with oil. Spread the semolina mixture evenly onto the plate. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or freeze for 1 hour, until the mixture firms up.

Shape and Air Fry

  • Remove the mixture from the refrigerator/freezer. Cut into heart shapes or your desired shape. Lightly coat the cutlets with 1 tbsp of oil.
  • Preheat your Philips Airfryer to 180°C (350°F). Arrange the cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't overcrowded. Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Serve

  • Serve the air fryer semolina heart cutlets hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Expert Tips

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of turmeric or other spices to the vegetable mixture.
  • If you don't have a Philips Airfryer, you can bake these cutlets in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
