Prepare the Breadcrumbs

  • Grind the bread slices in a food processor until you have fine breadcrumbs. Do not discard the crusts.

Make the Chana Mixture

  • In a food processor or blender, combine the boiled chickpeas, chopped onion, grated ginger, yogurt, salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and coriander powder. Pulse until you have a coarse paste, not a completely smooth puree.

Combine and Shape

  • Mix the bread crumbs and chana paste thoroughly. Add 1-2 tbsp of oil and mix again to bind everything together. Shape the mixture into small kababs. Brush the kababs lightly with oil.

Air Fry the Kababs
