For the Hung Curd (Strained Yogurt):

  • 2 cup Yogurt full-fat yogurt recommended for a creamier texture. greek yogurt can also be used.
  • 1 cheesecloth Cheesecloth Or Muslin Cloth for straining the yogurt

For the Fruit Medley:

  • 1 Banana ripe, sliced
  • 1 Apple granny smith or similar, chopped
  • 1 cup Papaya ripe, chopped

For the Flavor Boost:

  • 2 tbsp Sugar adjust to your sweetness preference., powdered
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder adds warmth and aroma.
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon optional, for added spice, ground
  • 1/8 tsp Saffron Strands soak in 1 tablespoon of warm milk or water to release color and flavor

Prepare the Hung Curd

  • Pour the yogurt into the cheesecloth and tie it securely. Hang it for at least 4-5 hours, or overnight, to allow the whey to drain. This will create a thick, creamy hung curd.
