Ingredients
Pasta
- 8 oz Pasta your choice of shape (macaroni, etc.), penne
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 clove Garlic minced
- 1/2 cup Dill finely chopped, fresh
- 1/4 tsp Msg ajinomoto, optional, use less if sensitive to msg
- 1 1/2 cup Milk toned milk recommended
- 1/2 tsp Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Pepper black, ground
- 1-2 Chili Flakes fresh or dried, red, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
- Boil the pasta according to package directions, adding salt and half of the MSG to the water. Drain well.
Sauté Aromatics
- Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, red chili flakes, and dill. Sauté for 4-5 minutes, until fragrant and the dill is slightly softened but still bright green. Stir in the remaining MSG and a pinch of salt.
Create the Creamy Sauce
- Pour in the milk and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the cooked pasta and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly. Taste and adjust salt as needed.
Serve
- Serve the pasta immediately. Garnish with extra dill, if desired.
