Pasta & Vegetables

  • 1 cup Pasta any short pasta shape works well, or farfalle., rotini, such as penne
  • 1 cup Broccoli
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium Carrot finely chopped

Prepare the Pasta

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened and translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

Cook Broccoli

  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add broccoli florets and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
